Our new fossil free transport
During March Nordic Paper started to use its new vehicle for transport of mainly pulp.
The new truck rolls between our mills in Bäckhammar and Åmotfors every day of the week and runs on biogas transporting approximately 58 loads of pulp every week. The truck is not only loaded with material that helps all of us to a better every day life with sustainable and renewable products. It also helps us lower our impact on the climate since it´s runs without fossil fuel.
The pulp that we produce in Bäckhammar, made of nearby forests, will in Åmotfors become different types of speciality kraft paper that among other things is used in different kinds of packaging material and bags. But also as absorbent paper which can be found within the building industry.
