OxyProof – Top class barrier paper
OxyProof is by far our best natural greaseproof paper yet. It can handle grease better than any of our barrier papers, and can replace conventional plastics and plastic coatings in food trays, pet food bags, snack bags, and more.
Just like magic, except it's paper.
As the name implies, OxyProof provides an oxygen barrier. Used as an inner ply, an Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) below 1 can be achieved – the same level as EVOH plastic. This means that your products can get a shelf life of 12-14 months, often longer, without using any plastics.
OxyProof by itself has an OTR rate of about 100-150 – directly from our production line, with no additional coating or treatment.
Outstanding grease barrier
OxyProof has a natural barrier against grease and fat that outperforms all of our other high quality greaseproof papers. This makes it optimal as an inner barrier in varios food and pastry packagings, like cookie trays or snack bags.
