Recyclability and ice hockey
Three years ago, a collaboration was initiated between Nordic Paper, FBK/Löfbergs Arena and UMV Coating where the goal was to collaborate to phase out disposables made of plastic. Some of these products were paper for burgers, but also tray coasters and sandwich wrappers.
"We have replaced as much plastic with paper, we could have wrapped the whole buidling, Löfbergs Arena, with the amount of Natural Greaseproof paper " says Örjan Lindgren, Head of Food and Drink at Löfbergs Arena/Färjestad BK.
Now it has been a couple of years and we can state that despite a pandemic that greatly minimized the number of visitors to the arena and the need for food paper, we have managed to replace a whole ton of plastic with paper.
Now we take the opportunity to do a relaunch of both our collaboration and our paper. Buy a lovely burger at Löfbergs ice hockey arena and enjoy that it is not just tasty, but also wrapped in renewable material without added PFAS.
